As a charity, we do not have the resources available to us to answer individual requests from students. Our website is our most comprehensive resource, and is constantly updated.

As you will see, our website contains information about the charity including what we do and how we are funded.

On our News and Resources site you can read overviews of the most common cancers, find out more about our current research and read our latest news stories.

Our Grants and Research website has information that may be of interest to science students.

On our Support Us site you can find out how you can get involved with our fundraising. You can have a look at what fundraising events are happening where you live, as well as the different ways to make a donation.

Visit our Youth and Schools section for information about cells and cancer linked to the GCSE science curriculum. You can play our Bust-a-cell game, try our interactive quiz and find advice about careers in cancer research.

There are also resources for teachers, including downloadable lesson plans. Each year we run a competition for young people to coincide with National Science Week.

Advanced science students can also visit our Grants and Research site for further information.

We have also produced two publications for teachers to help young people who have received cancer treatment. Both Welcome back! and Children with a brain tumour in the classroom are available to order online or you can call our leaflet line on 020 7061 8333.

Go to our graduate opportunities section. You can read about the scheme in our Fundraising and Marketing direcorate, as well as graduate opportunities in science and research.

Our community fundraisers will be able to help you organise a successful event. Contact your local Cancer Research UK office for further advice.

Our fundraising pages have lots of ideas for fundraising events and activities and advice about how to raise sponsorship.

Yes. Our internship placements are aimed at high-calibre individuals looking to gain work experience in the fields of fundraising, marketing, law and communications. The placements are voluntary. Find out more about our internship scheme and other volunteering opportunities by visiting our volunteering section.
